Building modern publishing infrastructure.
MPA was founded on a straightforward observation: the back-office work that determines whether an independent artist gets paid is still the worst part of the music business.
Started where most catalogs lose money.
We started by auditing other people's catalogs. Over and over, the same pattern: works registered to the wrong publisher, splits filed inconsistently between societies, holds at the MLC because of a single mismatched ISWC, foreign royalties stuck at a sub-publisher who'd long since stopped paying attention.
The artists involved had publishers. The publishers had perfectly fine paperwork. The royalties weren't moving because nobody downstream of the contract had the time, leverage, or expertise to chase them.
MPA exists to close that gap — to administer publishing the way an attorney would audit a contract: methodically, completely, and on the writer's side of the table.
We're a small operation by design. The work doesn't scale the way software does. We'd rather take on fewer catalogs and actually move the money.
Attorneys and operators, not marketers.

Co-founder · Royalty Operations
An international concert promoter and entrepreneur with 15+ years across live entertainment, talent development, and global music infrastructure. As founder of MUSICTOTHE — operating since 2007 from offices in Russia, Armenia, the UAE, and the US — Simon has produced and scaled tours across the US, Europe, the Middle East, and CIS markets, building a reputation for finding growth in emerging and underserved audiences.
At MPA, he leads the operational side: publishing administration, metadata, global collections, and royalty recovery. His focus is the unglamorous work that compounds — clean rights data, accurate registrations, and catalogs that earn what they’re owed.

Three commitments. Held to.
Clarity.
Statements you can read. Splits you can verify. No mystery percentages, no opaque admin fees buried in the small print.
Accuracy.
Metadata fixed at the source, not patched downstream. Registrations filed correctly the first time, audited on a schedule, corrected without drama.
Advocacy.
When societies hold funds, we chase them. When statements look wrong, we challenge them. Our job is to argue the writer's case — that's the only side we're on.
Get to know the catalog, then the money.
Tell us what you've released. We'll tell you what we'd do first.
